Heavy push from shoulder to overhead. Goal for experienced athletes is to establish a heavy double, for beginners…think about sets of 4-5 at moderate-light loads.
In the WOD, moderate-light loading w/ focus on cycling the barbell and fast transitions.
Warm-up (No Measure)
BB warm-up 8-10 reps for quality
Hang muscle clean
2 sets of 5 tempo press :03 descent/ :03 hold at top
Push Jerk (1 x 2)
5-6 sets to build toward the heaviest set of 2.
Metcon (AMRAP – Rounds and Reps)
AMRAP x 10 MINUTES
2-4-6-8-10 and so on…
