Growing up as an athlete I have had a love for health and fitness for as long as I can remember. However, my passion for CrossFit began in 2009 and hasn’t stopped. Lifting heavy things often and pushing my endurance limit is a challenge I’ll always crave. It’s rewarding to show other women that lifting heavy doesn’t make you bulky. Sharing my passion for CrossFit and Kettlebells with others is what I love, but I always say “find something you love and just do it.” Living out a healthy lifestyle in front of my kids and seeing how much they enjoy being active is also what motivates me to keep pressing onward.
My favorite lift… Deadlift. I think it’s awesome how much weight can be moved using one of the most practical movements.
Favorite WOD… I like almost any type of MetCon WOD that includes a lift and/or Kettlebell swings. I do really enjoy Chipper WODs since they are the least repetitive and Kettlebell swings are just a fun strength building tool when used correctly.
